Triumph DC is a Spirit-filled Christian community.

We are committed to teaching and practicing what the followers of Christ have believed and practiced since the days of the first apostles.  C.S. Lewis called this body of beliefs and practices Mere Christianity. One ancient writer called it, "that which has at all times and in all places been believed by the whole people of God."

Triumph DC believes in the authority of Christian Scriptures for our life and practice. We affirm and hold to the essential orthodox Christian beliefs found and affirmed in the Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed.

In addition to the common beliefs and practices of our faith, every local church has unique distinctions and callings. The distinctions create the congregation's culture, personality, and colors the ways in which it expresses Christianity's core doctrines and practices.

In Essentials, Unity; In Non-Essentials, Liberty; In All Things, Charity.

Triumph DC derives its culture from our geographical location, our roots in the Spirit-filled movement, and in the contemporary vision we seek to accomplish. We echo what has often been said throughout church history: In Essentials, Unity; In Non-Essentials, Liberty; In All Things, Charity.
